ALTON TOWERS

I just sat down with Nic to sort out some more photo's and didn't realize just how far behind I was. As mentioned in the current information some time ago (27/11/01), we took a trip to Alton Towers hotel, it was out of season, nice and quiet, we literally had the place to ourselves, almost spooky!

The staff were very helpful, and we had a good time, we stopped in one of the themed rooms, the chocolate room, it's all based on Cadbury's chocolate, and even has a machine on the wall which, when you turn the wheel it keeps spitting out chocolates, needless to say Tom and Amy had endless hours of fun with that :)

Tom and Amy in the cool elevator, these elevators are real cool, when the doors close it goes dark, lights start flashing and it blasts out scary music. Tom actually went in one on his own, from what I remember we didn't get to get in there quick enough and off he went, it was real funny, he said he wasn't scared..umm... I'm not sure.
