ORLANDO VISIT
Well, we managed to pull it off as many of you know, mission Orlando :)
We arrived on the 6th of October and ended up staying for 10 days. Unfortunately the day we arrived Toms tempurature started to increase, and by the early hours, 3am or so, he started to vomit a couple of times, next morning, off to hospital with a temp, and to cut a long story short 3 and a half days in hospital with antibiotics
After that we were very thankful to 'Xs' in Orlando for allowing Tom in early with all of his friends and giving them free play on their video games (Thanks to Bonnie for thinking of this and giving them a call) We had a GREAT time (unfortunately I can't locate the photo's - yet).
After that a day back in hospital for platelets, 2 days out just hanging out.. Oh and another day at the video arcade Xs.. we couldn't resist, it's a great place for the kids and us wanna be kids, another day back in hospital and then one day out where we gathered as much of the old gang together as possible and went 10 pin bowling. We managed to hang out with many of our old friends, Monte and his crew.. Debs..Melle... Chris K. and all of our other Palm Lake folk. Although it was a rather difficult time with the amount of hospital time it was worth the effort and we hope that there will be another opportunity to do it again not too long from now. It was good to get back into our other live.
We can't believe just how many friends we have back in Orlando...SOOOOOoooo many people asking to help in anyway they can, way too many too list! Again I'd like to take this opportunity to thank them all of them for massive amount of support.
Sorry for the brief page but I'm currently updating many areas of the site and it's taken me days to get together so I want to get it uploaded a.s.a.p. perhaps I'll update this page again shortly.
